Fènix coffee shop

This is a GREAT coffee place. We stayed at a friends place nearby when visiting Girona and came here EVERY MORNING for breakfast and coffee. Good food (hot sandwich are delicious and plenty, like half a Spanish baguette), nice company, always full of local people, great service, incredibly nice staff, also clean and well maintained. That all for a reasonable price. Not much more you can ask for. Another company recently opened a backery literally next door in the same building… what a pity. I hope this doesn’t steer customers away from FENIX. Because It’s a true gem in Girona for a nice breakfast or coffee…. And they deserve to stay busy and open.

I went to pick up a ToGoodToGo and almost paid more than it would have cost me to buy it outright. What a tough face!!

Renovated establishment... The service leaves much to be desired in relation to waitresses... antipathy and discomfort in the premises.
